Pat Kugler
Parish Nurse
In August, 1989, Pat moved to Bella Vista, Arkansas from
Eagle River, Wisconsin, and
joined United Lutheran Church. Pat's family includes two
daughters, two step-sons,
and six grandchildren. Pat shares with us that the past twelve years as Parish
Nurse at
United Lutheran Church has been the most rewarding experience of her 35
years as a
professional nurse.

Lois Carlson
Music Director
Lois Carlson has a BA in Music Education with a Piano Major from the University of
Northern Iowa. For fifteen years she taught elementary and junior high vocal music
in the South Hamilton School District in Jewell, Iowa, and directed the Elim Lutheran
Church adult choir in Randall, Iowa. After moving to NW Arkansas, she started directing
the Chancel Choir at ULC in 1994 and was hired for the position of Director of Music in
2000. At the present time, in addition to being Director of Music, she directs the Chancel
and Sanctuary Choirs, the Orchestra, is an assistant organist and accompanist, and a
part-time bell ringer for the Hand Bell Choir.

Stephen Ministry Coordinators
Jerry & Linda Shaw moved to Bella Vista in 2002 from Kenosha, Wisconsin. They joined
United Lutheran that year. They have been married 42 years and have two children. They
were commissioned as Stephen Ministers in February, 2005, and commissioned as Stephen
Leaders in April, 2006. They became coordinators of this caring ministry on October 16,
2008.
Financial Secretary
Mable was born and lived the first forty-eight years of her life in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
She graduated from Muskogee High School and attended Northeastern State University.
Mable has one son, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren living in Muskogee.
She moved to Dallas to work for the FDIC in 1988 where she met and married her
husband Frank. They retired in 2002 and moved to Bella Vista.

Karen Anderson enjoys her part-time position as
secretary which she has held for
5 years. David and Karen moved to Arkansas in 1995. She and David have been married
37 years and between them have 5 children and 22 grandchildren. Karen's hobbies
include cooking, craft work, and reading.

Kay Anderson
Office Secretary (part-time)
Kay Anderson, with her husband Howard, moved from Minnesota and
joined United
Lutheran in 1986. They have three children, seven grandchildren and two great-
grandsons. Kay has enjoyed many careers including registered nurse, farmer, retail
sales and since 2005, part-time secretary at United Lutheran. She really enjoys
working with people.

Jeff Peleaux Custodian
A Minnesota native, moved to Bella Vista in 1993 with wife, Kari, to start
a cleaning
services business. Jeff and Kari have two sons, Marshall, born in '94 and Hunter, born
in
'96. Most members know Jeff's mother, Mrs. Shiela Jones. Jeff joined ULC congregation
in 1994 and the staff in 2001.
