Worship With
United Lutheran

A foundation of faith for everything we do

Our Mission Statement

God has given us the greatest gift-- the gift of His son Jesus.
We learn from scripture that whoever has the Son has eternal life.
In grateful response to this gracious gift of love, we will by the power of the Holy Spirit:
Praise God in lively worship and faithful use of the sacraments
Learn more about His love for us and all people
Serve the needs of His children everywhere
Tell others about this gift of life in Jesus
Love one another as He has loved us
COMING TO GROW, WILLING TO GO!

Welcome to Worship at United Lutheran Church!

For a spiritually uplifting experience each Sunday morning, United Lutheran Church is the place to be.  Our goal is to create an environment which provides an opportunity for meaningful worship experiences among parishioners.   Each service begins with upbeat music during the ‘Gathering.’  During the year we use a variety of settings from the Evangelical Lutheran Worship, the primary worship resource for the Evangelical Lutheran Church.

At United, members participate by singing in the choirs, playing in the Bell Choir and/or Orchestra, reading the Scriptures, ushering and all the other responsibilities that promote a smooth service. Our pastor’s messages are second to none and weekly communion is an important part of every worship service.

Activities include Sunday School for adults and children, Bible studies, prayer groups, women’s circles, quilting, men’s monthly breakfasts, active Shepherd groups and a men’s golf league.  Individual members also have sessions for activities such as scrapbooking and stamping during the year.  A Nursery will be provided for any church function if necessary.

For Lutherans, worship is an ever-changing and -growing experience. Connected with and central to everything we do, worship unites us in celebration, engages us in thoughtful dialogue and helps us grow in faith. It grounds us in our Christian and Lutheran roots, while demonstrating practical relevance for today’s world.
